After entering psychology, I learnt and understood the importance of growing up obtaining a healthy mental state which forthrightly impacts and determine the future of an individual. Mental illness, whether noticable or not, has been rapidly rising in this generation and should not be taken lightheartedly. Therefore, I'm motivated to start this project by creating relatable apparel for everyday wear, subtly and constantly reminding them that they're not alone battling this mental war. Also, partial profit will be contributed to non-profit organisations in relation to mental health issues.

In this journey, I’m grateful to have come across like-minded people who aspires to head towards the same goal in revolutionising mental health stigma. That’s how Cigarette Daydreams came about!
 

It saddens me how mental health is still poorly disregarded especially in Malaysia. As a student myself, I've encountered and interacted with many people from this generation that needs help in this area but haven't gotten the financial means to do so. 

We ackowledge the importance of sustaining this brand for the long haul. A majority of the budget needs to be allocated in marketing during early stages in order to upkeep the lifeline of this brand for future expansion which we currently lack of.

Sourcing local small-medium scale textile manufacturers with reasonable pricing has been a challenging task due to limited capital and low volume orders. With persistent search, we are so grateful to have tumbled upon a supplier who have proposed a rate we can afford to manufacture our very first batch!
